Dr. Sarah M. Fischer is our  Managing Veterinarian here at  East Brook Animal Hospital. She enjoys soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. Dr.Fischer is a USDA accredited veterinarian able to issue international health certificates, and assist  with any travel needs.

Dr. Fischer graduated from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg Florida with a B.S. in Biology, and she continued to receive her veterinary degree from the University of Florida in 2008. She prides herself with that UF spirit, “GO GATORS!”

After acquiring her DVM accreditation, Dr. Fischer started her career here at East Brook Animal Hospital. After 10 years, she left for a brief hiatus, but returned to EBAH in October 2019 eager to rejoin the team and the many familiar friends she knows and loves.

Dr.Fischer prides herself with a keen interest in feline medicine, (However, do not tell her dogs that). Her calling is to help cats with Hydrocephalus, and often helps other veterinarians and owners of these special needs felines. She has even opened up her home to some of these very amazing cats,  Adelaide and Louise hold  special places in her heart. 

In her spare time, Dr. Fischer likes to work on home improvement projects, be in her gardens and hike with her dogs, Esther, Puck, Bertram, Louie and Sophia.
