COVID-19 Policy

Thank you for your continued support and patience. We are all looking forward to brighter days.

As we navigate the next phase of Covid-19, we have adjusted our protocols. As always, our priority is to keep our clients and our staff healthy. As most of you know, our staff is small, and any shortage can affect us greatly. Simply put, our goal is to be here to care for your pets, every day.

Effective Monday, March 7th  


We will begin allowing ONE client in with their pet for scheduled visits. *WE RECOMMEND UTILIZING CURBSIDE FOR SCHEDULED VISITS (Our room space is limited). *See below: FACEMASKS, CALL, EXCEPTIONS

We encourage clients to use our online pharmacy for your convenience. visit HERE.*If you are picking up medication in person, please call 860-456-1759*

FACEMASKS - All clients entering the hospital must wear a CDC recommended facemask (covering nose and mouth), regardless of vaccination status. *If you do not have one, please let us know, we will provide one for you*

CALL - into the hospital upon arriving for all services 860-456-1759, Please WAIT for instructions from the staff.  **If you do not have a cell phone, please knock on the outside door and wait. A staff member will assist you shortly*

EXCEPTIONS - Will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

DOGS- Must be wearing a well-fitting collar (one that cannot slide over their head) and be on a secure leash (advise: dogs over 25lbs should not be on a retractable leash).

CATS and POCKET PETS - Must be in a secure carrier at all times (one adult cat per carrier please. For pet safety we cannot take pets that are not in a secured carrier).

EXPOSURE or SYMPTOMS - If you have had any exposure to symptomatic or confirmed positive people, or are symptomatic or confirmed positive yourself, please call to reschedule or to discuss alternatives. 860-456-1759
